Technician Toolkits – Accessing Data From the Field
Electronic Environments’ Technician Toolkit™ is a portable, wireless internet accessible laptop that our field technicians rely on for rapid collection, analysis and dissemination of site information. All of our technicians use the toolkit to capture information while at a customer’s site performing emergency or preventive maintenance services.
The Toolkit enables our technicians to fill out a service call electronically while at the client’s site, access EEC’s inventory, and upload this information to our central database (Infrastructure Manager ) within minutes of a visit. The information flows immediately from the field to the home office. The Toolkits are equipped with a portable printer so our technicians have the capability of leaving behind service calls printouts from our database, and various site details while at a client’s site.
